Valdosta, Ga.—Women's Tennis fell to Palm Beach Atlantic Saturday morning at the NCCAA South Region Championship to close out the 2013 season.

The loss drops the Lady Hawks to 13-7 on the season; while Palm Beach Atlantic improves to 16-6 overall.

Shorter trailed 2-1 after doubles concluded, with the only win coming from the team of Iesha Holton and Sicquena Sinclair. The pair defeated Palm Beach Atlantics' Natalia Trotter and Leyla Taracena 9-7.

In singles, the Lady Hawks won three of the six matches. Holton topped Victoria Baca (6-1, 3-6, 10-8), Alicia Galled defeated Jessica Wharton (6-1, 6-4), and Sinclair was victorious over Taracena (6-4, 2-6, 6-0)
