Greenville, Tenn.—Isabella Baldacci shot one over par in the final round to lead Shorter's women's golf team to a fifth place finish at the Agnes McAmis Memorial Golf Tournament.

After the first round of play the Lady Hawks found themselves tied for sixth place, however, thanks to Baldacci's score of 73 in the final round, Shorter secured the top five finish.

Twenty-four strokes separated the Lady Hawks from the lead spot. Tusculum College earned the tournament win, shooting a 615 (310-305), while Shorter came in fifth with a 639 (322-317).

Baldacci finished the tournament tied for tenth place individually, which was the best finish by a Lady Hawk, with two-day scores of 81-73-154.  Maria Bengtsson finished nineteenth; shooting 78-80-158 for the tournament.

Shorter will be back in action, April 21, as they travel to Tunica, Miss. for the Gulf South Conference Championship.
