CARROLLTON, Ga. -- The Lady Hawks will continue Gulf South Conference action on Sunday when they travel to Carrollton to visit the West Georgia Wolves. Tip-off is set for 3 pm on Sunday, December 2.

Shorter (2-1, 1-0 GSC) is coming off of a pair of 3-point victories, including the schools first GSC victory over West Alabama on Thursday, 56-53.

In the game versus West Alabama, Lynette Harris led the team in points (17) and rebounds (5 – tied with Kristin Nash).

Both Harris and Nash top the scoring at 13.3 points per game, with Harris scoring on the inside and Nash adding the long range game to the Lady Hawks offensive attack. Shorter is scoring 63.3 points a game, while allowing 62.7 to the opponents.

Senior Shelby Farrer is pulling in eight rebounds a game, while adding 6.7 points each game.

Karisma Boykin, a Carrollton native, is third in scoring at 11.7 points, second in FG percent – 38.7, and leads the team with 4.0 assists.

West Georgia (3-3, 0-1 GSC) lost their GSC opener to Alabama-Huntsville, 58-53. Mone Peoples led the team in scoring for the fourth consecutive game, on her way to averaging 14.8 points per game. Breonna Mosley leads the Wolves at 9.5 rebounds per game, having only played the last two games.
