MARIETTA, Ga. – In the final dual meet for the season, the Hawks were defeated at Life University, 21-14. Shorter was able to claim victory in three of the nine weight classes.
Rodriguez defeated Chad Maldonado with the 8-3 decision for the 133-pound weight class.
Rector won his second match in a row, claiming the 174-pound match via technical decision over Ryan Jacobs, 16-0.
Roland was able to raise his hand victorious via forfeit in the 285-pound class.
Shorter will return to the mat on December 15-16 when the team competes in the Midwest Classic in Indianapolis, Ind.
